Bridge 9 Theater is a 501 (c) (3) company dedicated to connecting communities through laughter, by providing inclusive and accessible improv education, training, and entertainment. All programs are designed for anyone to feel welcome to laugh, learn, and engage no matter their backgrounds or abilities.

Our a name is a nod to the eight bridges connecting Richmond, VA. It's a great symbol for our mission to be a point for 'connection' on all levels through improv comedy. Rachel Garmon-Williams

Rachel has been performing Improv since 2004. Working with troupes in Richmond and DC from ComedySportz, to Music team, duo, and more. They are the founder and creator of the first Sensory Friendly Improv show and work to make improv accessible to all. As a disabled improviser they believe that everyone should have access to the arts.  Recently they were named a Top 40 under 40 in Style Weekly Magazine (Read Here)
